Eh, it's a tough line to walk. I'm all for non-pc humor (I love Lisa Lampanelli), but I think context is important.

Yeah, people compared GW Bush to a monkey, but there isn't a history of people calling white folks monkeys as a racist insult.

It's not the same for black folks.

I think that people like Baker feel they can get away with it because people called W a monkey.

I imagine that not everyone that does something like this is racist, but I reckon a good number of them are.

Exactly - people who dont understand the difference here are as ignorant as the comparison.

Comedy and political satire is a good thing (unless it insults the peeps you like -LOL).

Imo, except for intelligence and spirit, we all be hairless apes. Anyone who is prideful or ashamed over MERE skin color are dummies.
